Maintenance / New Car Detail
Unfortunately, a new car rarely leaves the showroom with adequate protection as well as the perfect paintwork finish. In fact, a brand-new car is not always as new as one would think; the vehicle is usually subject to various contaminants in the air during transportation and storage times. After which, once the vehicle has arrived at the dealership, the vehicle is commonly subject to a quick wash with a dirty sponge and chamois which will in turn inflict more damage to the paintwork. For this reason, our maintenance/new car detail has been introduced. The purpose of a maintenance/new car detail is to decontaminate and protect the paintwork.
Prestige Multistage Safe Wash using pH neutral shampoo and a Two-Guard Bucket System to prevent any stones, contaminants.
- Carried onto the car via the wash mitt
- Hand dried using the Prestige Safe-Dry process
- Wheels cleaned using a non-acidic citrus-based cleaner
- Door shuts, petrol caps, and arches all cleaned where accessible
- Glass and paintwork decontamination process (removes embedded contaminants and impurities/pollution)
- Tires conditioned and protected with a special tire preserve
- Paintwork treated with a clay bar to remove any bonded contaminants
- Special solvents applied to dissolve and remove tar and road grime
- Exterior vinyl and rubber trim treated with a vitamin-rich conditioner
Protection
A layer of our preferred high-grade carnauba wax/sealant is applied to the paint, ensuring a level of protection.

- A typical new vehicle detail will take one full day with the average cost of £595+VAT, and it also includes one hour's worth of paint correction.
